State Aid Law Passed in Bosnian Parliament – BalkanInsight.com

After months of partisan disagreement, both chambers of the BiH parliament have passed a State Aid Law. The law, passage of which is a requirement for BiH’s consideration as an EU enlargement candidate, has been held up by disagreements over funding of the Council for State Aid. Under the newly-adopted legislation, BiH and its two entities would each provide one third of the Council’s budget.
