Responding to recent statements by the BiH Minister of Defense, the chair of the BiH Parliament’s Joint Defence and Security Commission, Dusanka Majkic, said that there was no way to register defense property in the absence of a comprehensive BiH law on Registration. The registration of defense and state property has been a major controversy for several years, and a law on the subject is considered an important step toward closure of the OHR and EU membership for BiH. Chairperson Majkic was responding to the defense minister’s recent statements to press, in which he said that he planned to begin registering certain installations immediately.
