Bosnia Border Police Strike Over Wage Cuts – BalkanInsight

The BiH Border Police have announced a partial strike in response to proposed salary cuts in the 2012 budget. The strike began yesterday, and resulted in long waits at the BiH-Croatia border.

According to a spokesman for the Border Police, some officers already earn salaries that are barely above the poverty line.
