Asked to comment on Konaković’s recent statement in which he publicly admitted that they traveled the world to ensure that President Dodik is finally where he has long belonged, [BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović] responded that “Konaković is persistently confirming what we in Republika Srpska have been saying all along, that both the shameful proceedings and the shameful judgments against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik are politically motivated”.
“First, he put pressure on the Court and threatened with protests in the event of an acquittal. Now he is publicly boasting that President Dodik is where he belongs to, meaning convicted, supposedly thanks to his own lobbying around the world.
