Cvijanović tells US senators preservation of peace and stability is joint priority – SRNA

SRNA reports:

At a meeting today with US Senators, the Serb member and Chairperson of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, has pointed out that a joint priority of all nations in BiH is to preserve peace and stability and that there is a desire for economic progress and cooperation.

Cvijanović has said that she had a good, constructive meeting with members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Senate and that the fact that it lasted longer than expected shows a mutual interest in discussion and explaining certain things to each other.

“I am grateful to Mrs. Jeanne Shaheen and other Senators who show constant concern and understanding for what is happening in BiH and want to be helpful. This was an opportunity to talk about economic topics, they were interested in where our agreements and disagreements were,” said Cvijanović.
