RS sends helicopters to put out wildfires in Federation – N1

Republika Srpska has sent two helicopters to fight wildfires in the Jablanica municipality, south of Sarajevo.

The RS Helicopter Service said that the assistance has been provided in line with the 2001 cooperation agreement signed between the civil protection authorities of Republika Srpska and the Federation (FBiH), Bosnia’s other semi-autonomous entity where the municipality affected by the wildfires is located.

The response of the RS authorities came after the FBiH Civil Protection Authority asked for assistance.
