Venice Commission adopts opinion on draft HJPC amendments

The Council of Europe’s Venice Commission today issued an opinion on the Draft BiH Law on Amendments to the HJPC Law. The opinion welcomes the “emergency fixes” in the draft law, but emphasizes that these fixes are “in no way meant to replace or preclude the adoption of a comprehensive legal act on the HJPC that would be fully in line with international standards.”
