Bosnia sentences former Islamic State fighter to prison after his confession – N1

The Court of BiH on Wednesday sentenced a former Islamic State fighter to three and a half years in prison after he reached a deal with prosecutors and confessed that he left BiH for Syria to join a paramilitary unit under ISIS.

Armen Dzelko, 30, pleaded guilty to terrorism and to organizing a terrorist group in return for the 3.5 years-long sentence proposed by the prosecution and accepted by the court.
