Memorial Service Held on 20th Anniversary of Serb Exodus – SRNA

Serb activists, religious leaders, officials, and victims’ families held a memorial service in the town of Bravsko, in Republika Srpska, to mark the 20th anniversary of the massive exodus of Serbs from Croatia in 1995. As part of Operation Storm, Croatian armed forces displaced as many as a quarter-million Serbs from Croatia, and killed hundreds.

The memorial service was said by His Eminence the Bishop of Bihac and Petrovac, Atanasije, who said that innocent children of God were killed in this place….

The director of the Veritas Documentation Centre, Savo Strbac, said that 20 years after this and other crimes committed against the Serbs in the Krajina, no one has yet been brought to justice.

“No one has been brought to justice for this crime, even though it is known that Croatian airplanes, which took off from Split Airport, bombed a refugee convoy from the Krajina and committed this horrible crime.
