European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker sent an optimistic message to Western Balkans countries hopeful of joining the EU during his annual state of the EU speech. Juncker said, “If we want more stability in our neighborhood, then we must maintain a credible enlargement perspective for the Western Balkans.”
