Politicians from Republika Srpska are debating how to respond to the application for revision of the International Court of Justice’s 2007 ruling in BiH’s lawsuit against Serbia. The SNSD party is calling for a withdrawal of officials from Republika Srpska from BiH institutions. Many diplomats are critical of Member of the Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic’s move to file the appeal. Dragan Covic, the Croat member of the Presidency, referred to Izetbegovic’s move as “an unbelievable political mistake.”
