New Data Shows Extent of Terrorism in Balkans – BalkanInsight

The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland has released a new map and data set, Global Terrorist Data, that purports to show all acts of terrorism in Europe from 1970 through 2015. The map shows a high number of incidents in the Balkan states, with Albania leading the count, followed by Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, and BiH. The data set shows that a large number of these cases remain unresolved.
