RS Women War Victims Publish New Book – SRNA

The Association of Women Victims of War of Republika Srpska and the entity’s Centre for Research of War and War Crimes and Searching for Missing Persons has released a new book in Serbian and English, detailing the victimization of Serb women during the war in BiH.

“In the world as in the immediate vicinity, the Serbs were portrayed as aggressors, looters, rapists, monsters, the ones who started the war and did evil to everyone. The truth is totally different and we confront the deceits and lies with arguments, without denying or minimising the other victims of the 1992-95 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said [Bozica Zivkovic] Rajilic.

The Serb women have never been mentioned anywhere in the world as possible victims and sufferers, but as mothers, sisters, wives of Srpska veterans, the alleged aggressors and looters, she said.

The book will be presented by the authors at events in New York and Washington this month.
