BiH Court Orders Radoncic into Detention – BalkanInsight

The Court of BiH issued an order on Friday to return Fahrudin Radoncic, who has been indicted on charges of interfering with a witness, to the Court’s custody. Following his earlier hearings, the Court placed Radoncic under house arrest. This latest order follows a reported violation of that restriction. According to the BiH Prosecutor, Radoncic left his apartment to attend a party celebrating his release from detention.

Radoncic claims that his prosecution is being driven by his political rivals. He said during Friday’s hearing that “the prosecution was trying to make him ‘look like a criminal’, adding that ‘all this [the court case] comes from one person who aims to control two political parties.'”
